"Where the Wild Things Are" Trailer

The first trailer for the highly-anticipated film "Where the Wild Things Are" hit the web today. Based on the classic storybook by Maurice Sendak and directed by Spike Jonze, "Where the Wild Things Are" is set to his theaters on October 16, 2009. The film is being produced by Warner Bros, and the titular "Wild Things" for the film were created by Jim Henson's Creature Shop. These giant animatronic puppets are simply breathtaking. The creatures look fantastic and it still has that cool creepy quality. The rest of it looks a little avant-garde for my taste, but you never know. The trailer doesn't really say much about the film. Let's hope this is just the teaser. I'm still down for a ticket.

I can't wait for this movie.... the ratings will go through the roof, at least with those people that have grown up reading the book every night before bed.
