"A Muppets Christmas: Letters to Santa" Airs Tonight!

A Muppets Christmas: Letters to Santa (Wednesday, December 17, 2008 @ 8pm on NBC)

The Muppets deliver an all new one-hour special filled with song and dance, mayhem and heaps of holiday high spirits. On Christmas Eve the Muppets mistakenly avert three letters from making their way to Santa Claus in the North Pole--leaving three Christmas wishes at stake.

Kermit rounds up his fearless friends to get to the North Pole before Santa makes his rounds on Christmas Eve and as usual, nothing -- not even Miss Piggy's planned trip to the tropics -- can stand between the Muppets and a joyful Christmas. In typical Muppets fashion, chaos and humor ensue as they try to find a way to the North Pole, but will they make it in time?

Guest stars include Uma Thurman, Jane Krakowski, Nathan Lane, Jesse L. Martin, Michael Bloomberg, Whoopi Goldberg and more!

Tune in tonight (Wednesday, December 17, 2008) to catch the new special when it airs at 8:00pm on NBC!

It was very solid B in my book. While it could be better in bits, I won't complain. This special is a good start for things to come. Let's hope the ratings support that.

It was pretty decent. Kermit's voice is getting better. I can't believe that they said that the post office was going "Postal" or if the pigeon went to the North Pole, he may get the "bird flu."

After 18 years, I don't think Steve Whitmire is concentrating much on Kermit's voice "getting better", i.e. sounding more like Henson. It is what it is. You're just getting used to it, which is as it should be.

In other Christmas related news today, the Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams, said Muppets Christmas Carol is one of his two favorite movies of all time (http://is.gd/clwP).
